In the UK, out of fifteen studio albums released by Genesis, eleven consecutive was ranked in the top ten places of the Official Albums Chart and five of them reached the first position.

In the United States, the group’s work (including live collections and records) sold a total of around 21.5 million copies, six albums got at least one platinum record, and eight others at least one gold record. In 2010 the training was included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
